The Province of Formosa is one of the twenty-three provinces of the Argentine Republic and one of the twenty-four national legislative constituencies. Its capital and most populated city is the homonymous Formosa. It is located in the northeast of the country, in the region of Norte Grande Argentino, bordering to the north and east with Paraguay, to the south with the Bermejo and Teuco rivers that separate it from Chaco, and to the west with Salta.
